Zack from Door City has been incredible, we met him in store back in February and despite endless questions and changes to quotes, he has been fantastic to deal with. He has been really patient with us and always happy to help as we navigate through approvals to get our renovation started. One thing that really sets Zack apart from other sales people we have met, is Zack has always looked out for our best interest. He would never try and sell you something that you wouldn't be happy with. Zack is also incredibly knowledgeable and always found him to be very trustworthy. Love the new doors! The 2 internal Humecraft doors are definitely of a higher soundproofing than previous hollowcore doors .. my only suggestion would be to view these doors in the shop first as while the photos online look like plain or flat profile indentations in the door, the indentations actually have a curved profile .. therefore looking like an older style door than I was expecting from the photos on website. Zac and Marga at Door City Maroochydore were great to work with, very informative and helpful both times I was there ordering the doors. The new front door looks fabulous too and I love it ... however again while the glass is supposed to be unable to be seen through from the outside unless there is a light on inside, if there is any natural light from windows inside the door, the glass can be seen through from the outside .. just something to note when buying if privacy is important ..

We recently had our front door replaced with a 1200mm timber door and side window. We spoke to a few door companies, but decided to go with Blair at Door City Burleigh, based on reviews and value. After paying a deposit, the door installer, Chris, visited to confirm measurements. A few weeks later, Chris installed the door in a day and we are very happy with the completed product! Door City - north Brisbane - Myles and the team are just fantastic. From start to finish I cannot fault the service, responsiveness and products. Myles was very helpful and gave genuine advice concerning the product and installation - nothing was too much trouble. Emails were responded to quickly and there was consistent contact concerning the timing of the install. Everything was easy to organise, fully explained and there was no ‘hard sell’ and no problems. Steve who installed the door is an absolute perfectionist and again I cannot fault his work as it was completed without any problems or concerns. Highly recommend all round. After much research and soul searching, I employed the services of Door City North Brisbane to supply the new front entrance doors for my home. Jay from Door City, Slacks Creek provided fantastic service in sourcing internal doors for me during a recent renovation of an old Queenslander. While retaining the original doors in the original part of the house (upstairs), we needed new doors for the downstairs extension. As we needed so many doors, buying replica doors would've cost a fortune so we opted for a style which would blend with the older part of the house, particularly the VJ walls, as well as the new Hamptons inspired design. This decision saved us about $2,000. I looked at many doors at competing businesses, but Jay was able to source the doors I wanted, at a great price and in a quick timeframe. The doors look great and blend beautifully with the rest of the house. I get so many compliments on a design element that could have been easily overlooked.

Selecting and ordering a door at Door City was a simple process. There's a nicely laid out, well lit showroom so nothing about the product you're buying is hidden. Blair at the Burleigh Store was most helpful when we were ready to ask questions, told us all about the wood, and explained what would happen once we had made a decision.Once we had ordered everything went along smoothly to schedule. Blair has a can do approach. I requested a specific stain colour which he delivered on. unlike the others just one stain thats it. He has quality doors and fittings to suit @ what I found is a great price. Chris fitted our doors & what an outstanding job he did. He ensured every door was fitted perfect & to my satisfaction. I highly recommend these guys for any type of doors and custom work to.

A good business to deal with! Good advice and service, and were honest about manufacturing/installation times and costs. Not the cheapest quote, but definitely the most inclusive quote, and I am happy with the service and finished product so would say it was worth it.

Firstly, I am very happy with my experience with Doorcity. I purchased a factory seconds front door set from Doorcity at Pacific Highway, Slacks Creek this month. Jay (manager) was extremely helpful in the selection of our door and was able to withstand all of my questions along the way. Anyway, I became convinced that I could stain and install the door myself - so the job began. I am grateful for the ongoing support that Jay and his offsider (Nick) provided. I was able to 'competently' complete the staining process, remove the old doorset and the install the new one. Without their continued help I would never have been able to do the job myself (and be happy with the result). I learnt that there are so many different things in choosing, prepping/staining and installing these timber doors - I am soooo glad I kept asking questions and that Jay and Nick were only too happy to continue to provide advice - I recommend them to you for your door needs.

From the moment we entered the Labrador store and spoke with Blair we were really impressed with his professionalism. Blair was so easy to deal with. I selected Door City based on the Google reviews and I'm very glad I did. Blair produced a quote for two sets of double doors and single door which included installation, hard ware, staining and varnish. The doors has to be fitted to an existing build and Chris, the carpenter did a fantastic job ensuring that they looked perfect even though the non-standard openings were not square. I highly recommend Blair and Chris at Door City, Burleigh Heads, they are highly skilled and great to deal with.

My experience with this company has been very pleasant, from the moment I walked in to the time James (the carpenter) was done. James did a fantastic job, although he didn't turn up till 10am he still finished within 4 hours & I can not fault his workmanship. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions but I must say I have never felt so pleased about it all. When you shop here ask for Jay, he is a very upfront and honest salesman that will help you in anyway he can. Thank you again door city my wife and I love coming home to our new front entry door.

I purchased my new front door system from door city and I was very pleased with the service and the quality of the door. Jay explained everything in good details regarding the overhead prtection. The staining quality was above and beyond. The insulation was perfect. I couldnt reccomend them enough. Needed a new entry door for an upcoming granny flat build. After getting quotes from some other companies (which were way overpriced), I came into Door City and explained the requirements that I needed for the entry door as well as that I was on a tight budget. I also needed the door ASAP. Jay gave me a quote for a new door with the specs I wanted, but there also happened to be an ex-display factory second in the store itself at the time which was in good condition. It was a slightly different style but the exact measurements I needed. He offered it to me for a very reasonable price, in fact almost half the asking price of a competitor, so I went with this ex-display option. I liked the fact that the door is solid maple wood, not veneer, as well as the honest and open communication from Jay. He was very helpful and knowledgeable, took into account my circumstances and gave me options rather than pushing me to buy the most expensive option. I came back a few days later to pick up the door and also ended up purchasing 2 internal doors and a back door from Door City as well. Would highly recommend Door City South Brisbane.
